This application terminates running processes, though it is effective only for users experienced enough to identify process names. KillNamedProcess has no interface as it is a DOS application. Users immediately terminate running processes by invoking KillnamedProcess in a command window or as part of a batch file. You are required to know the exact name of the running process you wish to terminate. This is usually, but not always, the name of the file used to start the running process. We found KillNamedProcess effectively and immediately closed all tested processes. This freeware would be an excellent addition to any users’ toolbox.
