TrackTheLinks works by scanning a website, either by a bookmark or by an automatic 15 minute scan called an Alert. The site is compared against the last time it was last accessed and then added to a time link list, with older articles removed. If you want to automatically monitor a site, use an Alert. They return the new stories on a site and can be configured to return every article grouped together in a single list or with a pop-up in the system tray. Alerts ensure you never miss a story even if it’s been removed from the home page. Up to 30 fifteen minute alerts can be active at any one time.

It’s a brand new way to browse the web and works like this: Select a bookmark. The site is scanned and its contents compared with the last time you visited the site. New links are added to a navigational list. Links that are older than the time you specified are removed from the list. To navigate, click on the list and the browser goes directly to the linked article. If you click on another link you’ll bypass the home page; no more going back and forth.
